My 12yr old son, Josiah, and I learned to make goat milk soap in 2011. Josiah has always loved goats, and he's been building his herd of dairy goats for a couple of years now. He's so responsible and cares for them every day. I enjoy helping him milk the goats, and we have a lot of fun making soap and cheese together. He has a small business Suds 'N' Joe. He has a wonderful goat milk soap recipe using goat milk, lard, coconut oil, and sodium hydroxide (lye). If you're interested in that soap, click through to his Facebook page. I found soap molds that I love. They make 4oz bars with the words "Faith" "Hope" and "Love" on them. I've been making lots and lots of bars of soap! I'm making three types of bars, and here are the details:
Pure - Pure goat soap. This soap has no added fragrance or dyes.
Peace - Goat milk soap with the relaxing scents of lavendar, pine, jasmine, and vanilla with a soft hint of musk. These are the blue bars.
Energy - Goat milk soap with the revitalizing citrus scents of grapefruit, lemon, and lime with hints of cucumber, jasmine, pineapple, blackberry, and champagne. These are the green bars.
Goat milk soap contains goat milk, coconut oil, palm oil, glycerin, sodium hydroxide (lye). "Peace" contains fragrance oil and green oxide/glycerin dye, and "Energy" contains fragrance oil and ultramarine/glycerin dye. All bars are approximately 4oz. Because these are handmade, there are slight variations in weight from bar to bar.
The bars are $5 each plus shipping. Shipping is $2.50 for one bar with $1 additional shipping for each bar. If you order 10 bars, shipping is free! Please specify which type of soap you'd prefer in the comment section when you pay. If you order 3 bars of soap, I'll send one of each type unless you request otherwise.
For every bar of soap sold, $1 will go to Because Every Mother Matters.
